About this place
Yeongsanpo Catholic Church is a parish church of the Archdiocese of Gwangju in Yeongsan-dong, Naju, within the Naju-Hampyeong district. The archdiocese records the parish as established on April 15, 1954, with St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus as its patron.
Since the 1950s, the parish has served as a local pastoral center for Catholics in Yeongsanpo and the southern Naju area through Mass, the sacraments, catechesis, and community activities. Its current address at 23-2 Yeongsan 1-gil matches the package information.
Yeongsanpo Catholic Church is therefore one of Naju’s long-standing local parishes under the patronage of St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus, with the continuity of parish worship and pastoral life since 1954 forming the core identity of the place.
