The Brothers of Christ at 421 Barigol-gil, Munsan-eup, Paju are currently listed in the Catholic Church Directory in Korea as the congregation's “Paju House.” The same address is also listed for Neulpureun Rehabilitation Home, a facility for homeless people, and the directory identifies the Brothers of Christ as the religious congregation responsible for the institution.

The Brothers of Christ were founded in Korea in 1981 by Monsignor Aloysius Schwartz. From the beginning the congregation was closely connected with service among poor and marginalized people, and its tradition describes its vocation as serving the poor in the manner of Christ.
A key event directly connected with the site at 421 Barigol-gil is the establishment of Neulpureun Rehabilitation Home. Catholic media records that the institution was founded on November 30, 2001 to help people willing to return to society, later developing a therapeutic-community and employment program for homeless and socially vulnerable people. The current Catholic directory continues to identify the Brothers of Christ as the responsible congregation and separately lists the Paju religious house at the same address.
The history of this place is therefore best understood through the union of the congregation's broader vocation, founded in 1981, with the Paju rehabilitation apostolate begun in 2001 and the religious community that sustains it.
