Cheonma Catholic Church is a parish of District 1 of the Diocese of Uijeongbu at 7 Meokgat-ro 38beon-gil in Hwado-eup, Namyangju. The Catholic Church Directory records its establishment on February 18, 1999, and its patronal title is the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph.

The official history of its mother parish, Maseok, records February 25, 1999, as the separation of Cheonma with 440 parishioners. These dates may represent different stages of canonical establishment and the practical transfer of the new community.
Cheonma grew into an independent parish as the Catholic population of the Maseok and Hwado area increased. Because two official records differ by one week, both are preserved rather than arbitrarily reducing them to a single date.
