Sisters of St. Paul

About this place

The Yeoju community of the Daughters of St. Paul is a religious community in the Yeoju area of the Diocese of Suwon. The official Catholic directory in Korea lists it with the additional name “Queen of Apostles House.” The Daughters of St. Paul take as the center of their spirituality the living and proclamation of Jesus Christ, the Master who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, following the missionary spirit of St. Paul and the example of Mary, Queen of Apostles.

The congregation’s distinctive apostolate is to proclaim the Gospel through social communication, including publishing, bookstores, Bible and faith education, missionary work, and digital content. The Yeoju community is a place of prayer and common life that supports this mission and a local religious community through which Pauline life and apostolate continue within the Diocese of Suwon. The name “Queen of Apostles House” is also linked to Mary, Queen of Apostles, whom the congregation especially venerates. Because it is a religious house rather than a parish, it combines the character of a place for liturgy and prayer with that of a residential community for religious sisters.
