Notre Dame Sisters

This site is the Suwon branch of the Regina Pacis Province of the Sisters of Notre Dame, identified by the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Korea as a women’s religious community within the Diocese of Suwon. The Sisters of Notre Dame place at the center of their charism the mission “to incarnate the love of our good and provident God,” living consecrated community life and prayer while carrying out apostolates in areas such as education and social welfare. The branch is therefore not a parish church, but a community where religious life and apostolic service continue within the local area.

The congregation’s official website lists Notre Dame Sarangteo, one of its related institutions, at the same address in Cheonghak-dong, Osan. This indicates that the site is not simply a private residence for prayer but also a base where the sisters’ social-welfare apostolate meets the local community. Visitors should therefore understand it not primarily through the schedule of an ordinary parish church, but as a religious community in which the Notre Dame charism, common life, and service of neighbors are brought together.
