The Seoul branch of the Institute of Kkottongnae Brothers of Jesus is a male religious community located at 188 Sinnae-ro, Jungnang-gu, Seoul. The Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Korea directory lists this house specifically as the “Seoul Branch,” distinct from the institute’s motherhouse, confirming the present identity of the Sinnae-dong location.
The institute emerged from the Kkottongnae apostolate. Kkottongnae’s official chronology records that the Brothers and Sisters of Jesus of Kkottongnae were founded in 1986 and received diocesan approval in the same year. The Sinnae-dong house is therefore significant as the institute’s local religious community within the Archdiocese of Seoul, distinct from its motherhouse.
