Order of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Perpetual Help
Religious house
영원한 도움의 성모 수도회
About this place
The community of the Sisters of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Insa-dong is known as the “Jongno Seongmo-ui-jip Branch.” It is not a parish but a religious community where sisters live common life, prayer, and their apostolic vocation. It is distinguished from other communities of the same institute by its address and branch name.
The Sisters of Our Lady of Perpetual Help describe their charism as proclaiming the Gospel by participating in the mystery of the Incarnation of the Word. Following Mary’s example, their spirituality unites prayer, community life, and apostolic service. The Jongno Seongmo-ui-jip Branch can therefore be understood as a local community in central Seoul living within the spirituality and mission of the institute as a whole.
