Rogate-ui Saem (“Spring of Rogate”) is a chapel and prayer space at the Sadang-dong headquarters of the Daughters of Divine Zeal, located at 95 Sadang-ro 2da-gil in Dongjak-gu, Seoul. The congregation's official website lists its Seoul headquarters at the same address.

“Rogate” expresses the congregation's central spirituality, drawn from the Gospel command to ask the Lord of the harvest to send laborers into his harvest. Rogate-ui Saem is therefore better understood not as an ordinary territorial parish church, but as a place shaped by the religious community's prayer, its petition for vocations, and spiritual recollection.

History & origins

Official records of the Daughters of Divine Zeal show that the congregation's “Sadang-dong headquarters” was already operating by at least 1993. A biographical notice published by the congregation in 2026 states that one sister entered the Sadang-dong headquarters in 1993, and the congregation's current website continues to list the same address as its Seoul headquarters.

Public official sources, however, do not provide a separate construction or dedication date for the chapel specifically called Rogate-ui Saem. Its history can therefore be described safely only within the continuity of the Sadang-dong religious house and the congregation's Rogate spirituality; a distinct foundation date for the chapel should not be asserted without further evidence.
