About this place
The Yulhyeon-dong branch of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate (O.M.I.) is a religious community at 14-25 Bamgogae-ro 23-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. The Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Korea directory lists it separately as a “branch” within the Archdiocese of Seoul, confirming that it is distinct from the congregation’s Korean motherhouse in Suwon.
The Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate is a male missionary religious congregation founded in 1816 that entered Korea in 1990. The Yulhyeon-dong house is a local base where members live in community and carry out their missionary apostolate in Seoul; its defining identity is that of a religious house rather than a territorial parish.
