About this place
Inhundong Catholic Church is a parish of the Archdiocese of Seoul in Inheon-dong, Gwanak-gu, and belongs to the 13th Gwanak District of the western Seoul pastoral region. The archdiocese’s official parish information names the Holy Family—Jesus, Mary, and Joseph—as the parish patron.
The parish is a local center of Catholic life where the faithful of the Inheon-dong area gather around the Mass and the sacraments. Its dedication to the Holy Family expresses a spirituality centered on living the Gospel within family and neighborhood life.
History & origins
According to the official records of the Archdiocese of Seoul, Inhundong Parish was established on September 22, 2005. It now serves as an independent parish of the 13th Gwanak District at its present address in Inheon-dong.
The publicly available archdiocesan record clearly establishes the founding date and current parish identity, but it does not provide a sufficiently detailed public chronology of land acquisition, construction, or dedication. The history is therefore limited to the verified beginning of the parish.
