About this place

History & origins
충무 성당 was established on August 31, 1998. When the 39th Infantry Division moved from Changwon to Haman, the parish changed its name from “Chungseong” to “Chungmu” on June 30, 2015, and construction of a church at the new base site began in early June. The new church retained devotional objects including the crucifix and Marian statue from the former Chungseong church, and it was dedicated on November 7, 2015, with Bishop Yoo Soo-il presiding.
