About this place
Yulpo Mission Station is a Catholic mission station of the Diocese of Masan in Dongbu-myeon, Geoje. The Catholic directory’s list of mission stations confirms the same location on Geoje Namseo-ro as the package, and the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Korea also lists “Yulpo (mission station)” in its guide to churches near tourist destinations, confirming the continuing presence of the mission community.
Rather than being an independent parish, Yulpo is a small mission station in southern Geoje where local Catholics can gather close to home in prayer and remain connected with the wider Church. The mission station is also listed for visitors to nearby coastal and tourist areas, but because Mass and mission-service schedules can change, it is appropriate to distinguish information about the identity of the place from any current liturgical timetable.
