About this place
This place is the Masan community of the Sisters of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. The Catholic Church directory in Korea lists it separately as a women’s institute of consecrated life belonging to the Diocese of Masan, at the same address as Yeoja-dong Catholic Church. The directory entry for Yeoja-dong Parish also names this congregation as the religious institute serving the parish, clearly identifying the site as a religious community connected with parish ministry.
It is therefore best understood not as an independent parish or a general-purpose visitor facility, but as a local religious community whose sisters take part in the apostolate of the local Church through common life and prayer. The broader history and spirituality of the congregation provide background, but the present meaning of this particular place lies in the sisters’ community life on the same site as Yeoja-dong Parish and their service to parish ministry. Names of individual members and changeable leadership assignments have been omitted from the place description.
