Namseong-dong Catholic Church is a parish in Area 2 of the Masan District of the Diocese of Masan and is a long-established Catholic community in the old downtown area of Masan. The Catholic directory names St. Paul as its patron. Although the surrounding commercial district and the composition of the Catholic population have changed, the parish continues as a local center for Mass, the sacraments, prayer, and community life.

One of the church's distinctive present features is its stained glass, completed through the direct participation of parishioners. According to a diocesan parish feature, work began in 2019 with the guidance of a glass artist, while parish groups themselves assembled the windows, and the project was completed in 2020. Rather than simply trying to restore the scale of its past, the old downtown parish expressed a renewed community spirit by working together to care for its church. The stained glass therefore brings together the accumulated history of Namseong-dong and the active participation of its present community. The diocesan account also treats downtown depopulation and the decline in resident Catholics as realities the parish has had to face. Namseong-dong is therefore better understood not as a place displaying its past, but as a parish finding new ways to sustain Catholic community life in a changed urban environment.
