About this place
This place is the Geoje branch of the Congregation Little Jesus and is listed in the Directory of the Catholic Church in Korea as a men’s religious community in the Diocese of Masan. At the same address, Geoje Little Jesus House is registered as a welfare institution for persons with disabilities, and the Congregation Little Jesus is explicitly named as the responsible religious community. This confirms that the local apostolate of the branch is closely connected with care for persons with disabilities.
The essential character of this place is therefore not that of a territorial parish or an ordinary church building, but of religious community life joined to a social-welfare apostolate. The members live their consecrated life and prayer in community while carrying out an entrusted ministry of care, and the Geoje branch is a place where that religious vocation meets concrete needs in the local community. Visitors should understand it not automatically as a public liturgical venue, but as a Catholic community where the religious branch and its disability-welfare ministry are located together.
