About this place
The Jeju branch of the Caritas Sisters of Jesus is a women’s religious community registered in the Diocese of Jeju. The Catholic Church directory identifies it as the Jeju branch of the Suwon Province, while the Diocese of Jeju places it within the Cathedral Parish. The location is therefore not a separate parish but a religious house where sisters live in community and continue their apostolate within the local Church; its direct connection with the cathedral community in central Jeju City is important for understanding its present character.
The congregation describes its mission as evangelizing both itself and society through the merciful love drawn from the Heart of Jesus, especially by serving people who are poor, abandoned, or suffering. Official materials also emphasize becoming a community of communion and reconciliation and drawing the strength for apostolic activity from encounter with Christ in the Eucharist. The Jeju branch can thus be understood as a local community living the spirituality of Caritas within the Diocese of Jeju, while branch-specific projects or assignments that are not documented in public official sources are not asserted here.
