About this place
Catholic Youth Stay 'ᄒᆞᆫ숨' is a retreat and prayer space belonging to the Diocese of Jeju. The official Catholic directory in Korea classifies it as a retreat/prayer house of the diocese and notes that it uses the former Canaan Mission Station premises in Sanghyo-dong, Seogwipo. Rather than functioning as a regular parish or an ordinary mission-station community, its present identity is that of a Church space where young people can stay for a time in Jeju and make room for rest and prayer.
The place is also meaningful because a space once used as a mission station has been carried forward for a new pastoral purpose. The public official directory confirms the facility's present existence, diocesan affiliation, and its spatial background as the former Canaan Mission Station, but it does not describe detailed programs or operating arrangements. It is therefore best understood not as a permanent parish church but as a youth-oriented place of stay and retreat registered with the Diocese of Jeju.
