The Yeonsu-dong community of the Missionary Benedictine Sisters of Tutzing, Seoul Priory, is a women’s religious community located in the Diocese of Incheon. The Directory of the Catholic Church in Korea lists the community separately as the “Yeonsu-dong Community” of the Seoul Priory. It is not a parish but a local house of the congregation, whose basic identity is rooted in living both the Benedictine monastic tradition and a missionary vocation.
The Missionary Benedictine Sisters of Tutzing follow the Benedictine tradition of prayer, liturgy, and community life while also taking part in missionary apostolates. The Yeonsu-dong community is a concrete place where this form of consecrated life and missionary charism is present within the local Church of Incheon.
