The official directory of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Korea records the establishment date of Sindo Quasi-Parish as December 5, 2006. Coming immediately after the clergy appointment, this marks the beginning of the quasi-parish structure and reflects an effort to provide stable pastoral care locally rather than leaving island Catholics dependent only on mainland parishes.
The current directory records one mission station under Sindo Quasi-Parish. This structure shows that the establishment of the quasi-parish was not simply the creation of a church on one island, but part of a continuing pastoral arrangement that connects dispersed Catholic communities in Bukdo-myeon within a single local unit.
