About this place
The Incheon community of the Franciscan Missionary Sisters of Service is a women’s religious community living and serving within the Diocese of Incheon. The Directory of the Catholic Church in Korea lists it separately as the congregation’s Incheon community in Wonchang-dong, Seo-gu. It is a local house in which the congregation’s charism of mission and service is lived within the local Church, distinct from a parish or an ordinary institution.
The congregation’s official materials describe its central mission as sharing Christ’s love by remaining close to the poor, the sick, and all who need help. Its sisters serve through missionary work, health care, social welfare, parish apostolates, and other ministries in Korea and abroad. In that context, the Incheon community represents a concrete local presence of this spirituality: a form of consecrated life rooted in prayer and community and directed toward loving service in the world.
