About this place
Ojeong-dong Catholic Church is a parish church of the Diocese of Incheon located in Ojeong-dong, Bucheon, Gyeonggi-do. It is listed by the Diocese of Incheon as an independent parish and serves as the center of local Catholic life, where the faithful celebrate Mass and the sacraments and take part in catechesis and community activities.

History & origins
Ojeong-dong Parish was established on February 18, 1991. The official parish information of the Diocese of Incheon records this date as its foundation, confirming the establishment of an independent parish community in the Ojeong-dong area of Bucheon in the early 1990s.
As the community grew, a new church building was constructed. Catholic Times reported that the dedication of the new Ojeong-dong church would be celebrated on November 19, 2006, with Bishop Choi Ki-san presiding. The new building included a main church, an adoration chapel, catechetical rooms, and other parish spaces, marking an important stage in providing the growing community with a stable setting for liturgy and pastoral life.
The principal verified milestones are the establishment of the parish in 1991 and the dedication of the new church in 2006. Through these two stages, Ojeong-dong developed from a newly independent parish into a community with its present church facilities, which have since remained the center of local Catholic life.
