About this place
The Incheon community of the Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Mary of Mirinae is a religious community serving within the Diocese of Incheon and is listed in the Catholic Church in Korea directory as a branch in Songdo-dong, Yeonsu-gu. The congregation to which it belongs was founded in Korea and seeks to unite contemplative and active religious life. It has traditionally placed the Immaculate Heart of Mary at the center of its spirituality, seeking to imitate Mary's faith and love and to move toward the Triune God through a life of prayer and service.
The Songdo community is meaningful as a local base where the congregation continues religious community life, prayer, and service within the Diocese of Incheon. Public sources do not specify the detailed apostolates carried out by this particular branch, so it is more accurate to understand it as a local religious community living the congregation's spirituality rather than to attribute unverified educational, social-welfare, or parish ministries to it.
