The Sangok-dong community of the Daughters of Mary Immaculate (Marianists) is a women's religious community registered in the Guide to the Catholic Church in Korea as the 'Sangok-dong Community.' Its official English name is Daughters of Mary Immaculate (Marianist): F.M.I. The sisters live in community at the same address as Sangok-dong Parish and continue a parish-based apostolate there. The parish directory itself also names the Daughters of Mary Immaculate as the religious congregation serving the parish, confirming the close connection between this community and local parish life.
Marianist spirituality emphasizes participating with Mary in Christ's mission, building communities of faith, and helping people grow in faith. The Sangok-dong community is therefore less a public destination in its own right than a religious community whose prayer and common life support collaboration in parish ministry. Although physically joined to the parish setting, it should be understood as a distinct community of consecrated Marianist women rather than as the parish itself.
