About this place
The Incheon community of the Daughters of Mary Immaculate (Marianists) in Yongjong-dong is a women's religious community registered in the Guide to the Catholic Church in Korea as the 'Incheon Community.' Its official English name is Daughters of Mary Immaculate (Marianist): F.M.I. Rather than being a parish church or a public retreat facility, it is a community in an urban residential setting where the sisters maintain common life and prayer. The directory's separate listing of the community confirms it as a distinct unit of consecrated life within the Diocese of Incheon.
The Daughters of Mary Immaculate live Marianist spirituality through the formation of faith communities, the continuing education of believers, education, retreats, and other apostolates. The Yongjong-dong community shows a form of religious presence rooted not in a large institution but in ordinary residential space. It is therefore best understood not as a visitor facility, but as a house of religious community life whose prayer and common life support the congregation's apostolate within the diocese.
