About this place
The Incheon community of the Blessed Sacrament Sisters of Charity is listed in the Catholic Church Directory in Korea as a women’s institute of consecrated life belonging to the Diocese of Incheon and located in Okryeon-dong. The congregation’s own apostolate directory also identifies Okryeon-dong in the Diocese of Incheon as a place of parish apostolate, confirming that this local community is connected with parish ministry in the area.
The Blessed Sacrament Sisters of Charity place at the heart of their spirituality the concept of inbo—neighborly care rooted in the love of the Eucharist. The congregation describes itself as an apostolic religious institute that seeks to practice this spirit through direct cooperation in social service and the proclamation of the Gospel, with ministries that include parish work, social welfare, early-childhood education, and overseas mission. The Incheon community can therefore be understood as a religious household that embodies the congregation’s Eucharistic spirituality of love and service within the local Church of Okryeon-dong.
