About this place
The community of the Sisters of the Blessed Korean Martyrs in Mansu-dong, Namdong-gu, Incheon is the “Incheon Peter Yu Tae-chol Convent,” belonging to the Daejeon Province. Its official name and location are confirmed by the directory of the Catholic Church in Korea, where it is registered separately from the congregation's other communities in Incheon. This is not a parish or an ordinary public church but a convent where the sisters' common religious life and prayer take place, and its character as a local religious community comes first.
The Sisters of the Blessed Korean Martyrs is a Korean-founded congregation that takes the faith and self-offering of the Korean martyrs as an important root of its religious life. The Peter Yu Tae-chol Convent is one of the communities living that spirituality in Incheon. Because publicly available official sources do not describe this house's specific apostolate or external programs in detail, it is appropriate to understand it primarily through its identity as a religious community rather than attributing the congregation's wider ministries to this particular place.
