About this place
The community of the Sisters of the Blessed Korean Martyrs in Bupyeong-dong, Incheon is the “Incheon Elizabeth Chong Chong-hye Convent,” belonging to the Daejeon Province. The official directory of the Catholic Church in Korea confirms this name and location and lists it as a separate community from the congregation's other houses in Incheon. It is not a parish but a convent where the sisters continue their common life and prayer, sustaining the congregation's consecrated life within the local Church.
The Sisters of the Blessed Korean Martyrs is a Korean-founded congregation established by Father Andrew Bang Yu-ryong with a commitment to religious life inspired by the faith of the Korean martyrs. The Elizabeth Chong Chong-hye Convent is one of the communities living that martyr spirituality in the Incheon area. Since public official sources do not provide detailed information about this convent's specific apostolate or visitor programs, a careful description should focus on its verified affiliation and identity as a religious community.
