About this place
The Gwangju community of the Sisters of Our Lady of Perpetual Help is a women’s religious community at 75 Cheonggye-ro, Yongbong-dong, Buk-gu, Gwangju. The Catholic Church Directory in Korea records it as the congregation’s Gwangju community within the Archdiocese of Gwangju.
This place is not a territorial parish church but a local religious community where members live their consecrated life in common. Its primary identity therefore lies in the religious institute itself rather than in parish history or a parish patron.
The Gwangju community is best understood as a place of the congregation’s religious presence within the Archdiocese of Gwangju.
