The Gwangju branch of the Sisters of St. Paul of Chartres is a women's religious community located within the Catholic Mokpo Shrine in Sanjeong-dong, Mokpo. The Catholic Church Directory in Korea identifies it as the "Daegu Province: Gwangju branch" of the Sisters of St. Paul of Chartres and gives 35-3 Nosong-gil, the same address as the package, as its current representative address.
The congregation was founded in 1696 and entered Korea on July 22, 1888. The Gwangju branch in Mokpo stands within the Catholic Mokpo Shrine, where the first parish of the Archdiocese of Gwangju, the Martyrs Memorial Church, and the diocesan history museum are located, bringing the present life of a religious community into direct proximity with the early history of the local Church.
This target therefore refers not to Sanjeong-dong Parish itself or to the entire shrine complex, but specifically to the Gwangju branch of the Sisters of St. Paul of Chartres located within it.
