Piagol Retreat House is a retreat facility operated by the Archdiocese of Gwangju at 732 Piagol-ro, Toji-myeon, Gurye County. According to the archdiocese, it opened in June 2008 and was created as a quiet place for prayer and rest in the natural setting at the foot of Jirisan.
The archdiocese lists it as a dedicated retreat facility, and diocesan calendars continue to show it being used for retreats and formation gatherings for clergy, seminarians, and lay Catholics. Its defining identity is therefore not that of a territorial parish church, but of an archdiocesan spirituality and retreat center.
