Nongseong-dong Catholic Church is a parish church of the Archdiocese of Gwangju in Nongseong-dong, Seo-gu, Gwangju, within the Gwangju West district. The archdiocese records the parish as established on April 24, 1974, with the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary as its patron.
Founded in the 1970s, Nongseong-dong Parish reflects the formation of an independent Catholic community amid the urban growth of western Gwangju. Through later demographic changes and the development of neighboring parishes, it has continued to serve local Catholics through Mass, the sacraments, catechesis, and parish activities.
