Naju Catholic Church is a parish church of the Archdiocese of Gwangju in Sanjeong-dong, Naju, within the Naju-Hampyeong district. The archdiocese records May 1, 1935 as the parish establishment date and names Our Lady of the Rosary as its patron. With a long history in the Naju area, it remains a center for Mass, the sacraments, catechesis, and parish community life.

According to the Korean Catholic Encyclopedia, the organized Catholic community in Naju took shape with the establishment of a mission station in 1933 and developed into an independent parish in 1935. The parish later became an important pastoral center as other communities and mission stations in the surrounding area grew, including those that eventually developed into separate parishes.

Within the grounds of Naju Catholic Church stands the Naju Martyrs Memorial Chapel, commemorating Catholics who were martyred in Naju in the nineteenth century. The site therefore brings together the living life of a parish with the memory of local martyrdom and the wider development of Catholic faith in the Naju region.
