Jindo Jingil Catholic Church is a parish church of the Archdiocese of Gwangju at 15-18 Goseong-gil, Gogun-myeon, Jindo County, within the Southwestern district. The archdiocese records the parish as established on January 22, 2002, with St. Augustine Yu Jin-gil as its patron.

An article published by the archdiocese states that the parish was formed in 2002 by integrating eleven mission stations formerly under Jindo Parish. Parishioners later worked toward a new church; construction began in March 2014 and the present complex was dedicated in December of that year, with a church, education building, and rectory.

Jindo Jingil is therefore distinguished by the history of several mission communities being brought together into one parish and by its role as a pastoral center of eastern Jindo under the patronage of St. Augustine Yu Jin-gil.
