About this place
Jaesaeng Mission Station is a Catholic mission community at 3925 Yeongsan-ro, Hakgyo-myeon, Hampyeong County, belonging to Hakdari Parish in the Archdiocese of Gwangju. The archdiocese records the mission station as established on January 1, 1953.
Since the 1950s, it has served as a local point where Catholics of Hakgyo-myeon remain connected with their mother parish through prayer and communal faith life. Although the archdiocesan page retains an older administrative expression in its territorial description, the mission name, address, and mother parish match the place in the package.
Jaesaeng Mission Station is therefore best understood as a long-established local faith community belonging to Hakdari Parish, with continuity since 1953 at the heart of its identity.
