About this place
Honam-dong Catholic Church is a parish church of the Archdiocese of Gwangju at 393-17 Cheonbyeonu-ro, Dong-gu, Gwangju, within the Gwangju East district. The archdiocese records the parish as established on January 18, 1968, with St. Patrick as its patron.
Since the late 1960s, it has served Catholics of Honam-dong and the surrounding central Gwangju area through Mass, the sacraments, catechesis, and community life.
