Heuksan Cultural Tourism Hotel and Retreat House is an accommodation and retreat facility of the Archdiocese of Gwangju at 180-19 Heuksanilju-ro, Heuksan-myeon, Sinan County. The Catholic Church Directory in Korea lists it separately as a retreat and prayer facility, distinct from Heuksan Catholic Church itself.
According to the archdiocese, the Church acquired the former hotel and related property in March 2020, renovated the site, and developed it as both a retreat venue and a place of rest for visitors to Heuksando. The archdiocese’s retreat-facility information records its opening on August 30, 2021.
The site is therefore best understood not as a parish church or mission station, but as an archdiocesan facility supporting accommodation, rest, and retreats for pilgrims and visitors near Heuksan Catholic Church.
