Hanam-dong Catholic Church is a parish church of the Archdiocese of Gwangju at 7 Hanam-daero 54beon-gil, Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju, within the Gwangju Gwangsan 1 district. The archdiocese records the parish as established on September 9, 2010, with St. Paul as its patron.
After the parish was founded, the community built a permanent church. An article published by the archdiocese records the dedication of the new church on October 27, 2012. The building was designed with a main church, a smaller chapel, catechetical rooms, and multipurpose spaces for parish life.
