The Gwangju community of the Daughters of Divine Zeal is a women's religious community located in Wolgok-dong, Gwangju. The Catholic Church Directory in Korea identifies the apartment address in the package as the congregation's Gwangju house, and the congregation's own record identifies the same place as the new home of the "House of the Child Jesus," a daytime care home for infants and toddlers from migrant families. In December 2024 the first Mass and blessing were celebrated there, and the Eucharist was reserved in its small chapel.

The Daughters of Divine Zeal were founded in Messina, Italy, in 1887 by St. Hannibal Mary Di Francia. Their charism centers on Christ's call to pray that the Lord of the harvest send laborers, together with solidarity and service toward those who are small and poor. In Gwangju, that spirituality is expressed through the House of the Child Jesus, which cares for young children while their migrant parents work and seeks to support the healthy growth of the children.

This is therefore not an independent parish church, but a place where the sisters' common life, prayer in a small chapel, and an apostolate of care for migrant children come together. It can be understood as a lived form of religious apostolate in which prayer for vocations and practical social care meet in daily life.
