Bukgyo-dong Catholic Church is a parish church of the Archdiocese of Gwangju in Bukgyo-dong, Mokpo, within the Mokpo-Sinan district. The archdiocese records the parish as established on May 25, 1958, with Pope St. Pius X as its patron.

Located in Mokpo's older urban area near the slopes of Yudalsan, Bukgyo-dong Parish has served local Catholics through Mass, the sacraments, catechesis, and community life since the late 1950s. An archdiocesan feature on Catholic places in Mokpo also includes Bukgyo-dong together with Gyeongdong, Sanjeong-dong, and Yeondong as places through which the city's Catholic history can be explored.
