About this place
Bitgaram-dong Catholic Church is a parish church of the Archdiocese of Gwangju in Bitgaram-dong, Naju, within the Naju-Hampyeong district. The archdiocese records the parish as established on September 3, 2015, with St. John Mary Vianney as its patron.
It is a comparatively young parish established to serve Catholics in the new residential area that developed with the Bitgaram Innovation City. The parish provides a center for Mass, the sacraments, catechesis, and community activities. Unlike older rural parishes in the region, its identity is closely connected with modern urban development and population movement.
