About this place
The Congregation of Jesus Education Center is registered as a retreat and prayer house in the Catholic Diocese of Daejeon, with the Congregation of Jesus named as the responsible religious institute. It is located at 62 Daeheung-ro, Jung-gu, Daejeon, the same address at which the congregation’s Korean Province/Daejeon motherhouse is registered, confirming that it is a religious-institute facility connected spatially with the congregation’s Daejeon base.
As its name and official classification indicate, it is more accurately understood as a facility for education, retreat, and prayer than as a parish church. Its defining role is to provide space for faith formation and spiritual activities within the Congregation of Jesus’s Daejeon base, distinct from a separate parish community.
