About this place
Sedo Mission Station belongs to the Catholic Diocese of Daejeon and is under the pastoral jurisdiction of Ganggyeong Parish. Both the Catholic Church Directory in Korea and the bulletin of the Diocese of Daejeon confirm this relationship, clearly identifying it as a local Catholic community in Sedo-myeon, Buyeo-gun, whose faith life is connected with Ganggyeong Parish.
A mission station serves Catholics who live at some distance from the parish church, providing a local place for communal prayer and, at appointed times, for the Mass and sacramental life. The essential point for visitors is that Sedo is not an independent parish but exists within the pastoral care of Ganggyeong Parish. The available official sources clearly establish its present affiliation but do not provide sufficiently stable details of its operating schedule, so anyone planning to attend Mass or visit should consult the latest information from Ganggyeong Parish.
