Munhwa-dong Catholic Church is a parish in the Daejeon Central district of the Catholic Diocese of Daejeon, serving Catholics in and around Munhwa-dong, Jung-gu, through Mass, the sacraments, catechesis, and community life. Its patron is the Holy Family. It functions as a local pastoral center where Catholics can participate in the liturgy and religious formation close to their daily lives and build a parish community together.

Although it was established later than many of Daejeon’s older inner-city parishes, Munhwa-dong is now firmly established as an independent parish and forms part of the local Church. Its dedication to the Holy Family naturally gives the community a spiritual reference point for the passing on of faith within families and across generations.
