About this place
장기 공소 is a Catholic mission station in Janggun-myeon, Sejong Special Self-Governing City, within the Diocese of Daejeon. The Korean Catholic directory lists “Janggi Mission Station” as a distinct mission-station entry at this location. Its basic character is therefore not that of an independent parish church but of a local place where Catholics can gather near their homes and remain connected with the pastoral life of the wider Church.
Reliable public sources currently provide little detail about the mission station’s specific pastoral activities or distinctive traditions. For that reason, this introduction does not add an unverified founding year or particular historical event. The safest understanding of 장기 공소 is as a local Catholic point of presence for the faith community in Janggun-myeon, Sejong.
