Beopdong Catholic Church is a parish of the Catholic Diocese of Daejeon in the Daejeon East District. Its pastoral territory centers on Beop 1-dong and Beop 2-dong in Daedeok-gu and includes parts of Jungni-dong and Eupnae-dong, as confirmed by the diocese's current parish directory.

History & origins
Beopdong Parish was established amid population growth and pastoral reorganization in eastern Daejeon. It was separated from Yongjeon Parish on February 6, 1995, when part of Yongjeon's territory and Catholic population was assigned to the newly formed parish community in the Beopdong area.
As the new parish became established, the construction of a permanent church followed. The present church building was completed in October 1999, giving the community a stable setting for liturgy, catechesis, and parish life beyond its initial stage of formation.
In 2000, the creation of nearby Songchon-dong Parish brought another adjustment of pastoral boundaries around Yongjeon and Beopdong. This formed part of a wider process in which parish territories in eastern Daejeon were reorganized in response to urban growth and changing Catholic populations.
The history of Beopdong Catholic Church can thus be understood as the development of a community that separated from an older parish, established its own church, and then settled into the diocesan structure through subsequent boundary adjustments.
