The parish marked its fiftieth anniversary in 2014. The Archdiocese of Daegu records that on September 28 of that year, Archbishop Thaddeus Cho Hwan-kil presided at a fiftieth-anniversary Mass and Confirmation, and the official archdiocesan weekly also reported the anniversary liturgy. This provides a clear milestone showing that the community founded in the 1960s continued beyond its first half-century into the present.
