About this place
The community of the Olivetan Benedictine Sisters at 128 Sicheong-ro, Gimcheon is listed in the Korean Catholic Directory as the “Daegu Branch” within the Daejeon District. The official page of Daesin Parish in the Archdiocese of Daegu also lists a convent of the Olivetan Benedictine Sisters at the same address.
The place should therefore be understood not as the motherhouse of the congregation or the headquarters of the Daejeon District, but as the Daegu branch, a local religious community living alongside Daesin Parish in Gimcheon.
