Ocheon Catholic Church is a parish of the Archdiocese of Daegu at 1676 Janggi-ro, Ocheon-eup, Nam-gu, Pohang. The official archdiocesan directory names Saint Paul Chong Hasang as its patron and lists the Handmaids of the Sacred Heart of Jesus as the sisters serving with the parish community.

History & origins
Ocheon Parish was established on July 1, 1988. On September 16, 2018, the parish marked its 30th anniversary with a thanksgiving Mass and confirmations celebrated with Archbishop Thaddeus Cho Hwan-kil of Daegu.
In local reporting on the anniversary, the archbishop recalled that Catholics in the Ocheon area had preserved and shared their faith even before a resident parish priest was present. The establishment of the parish in 1988 can therefore be understood not as the sudden beginning of a community, but as the point at which an already existing local Catholic presence acquired an independent parish structure.
