About this place

The Cursillo Education Center is a space used for formation and gatherings of the Cursillo movement in the Archdiocese of Daegu. The archdiocese officially lists Cursillo among its devotional and apostolic groups, and the education center hosts not only diocesan participants but also meetings and commissioning Masses attended by Cursillo leaders from across Korea.

Cursillo is a movement that helps lay Catholics renew their Christian life and put their faith into practice within the community. The education center therefore has a function different from that of a territorial parish church: it is a place for formation programs, encounter, prayer, and mission, supporting lay faith formation and apostolic life at the diocesan level rather than serving as the jurisdictional center of a local parish.
