About this place
Galbat Catholic Church is a parish of the Archdiocese of Daegu serving Catholics in Dowon-dong, Dalseo-gu, and nearby neighborhoods. Its patron is Saint Patrick, widely venerated as a missionary saint of Ireland.
As one of the more recently established parishes in the archdiocese, its significance lies less in old architectural heritage than in providing a center of Catholic community life in a newly developed residential area.
